August Wrap-Up

Here’s my August wrap-up! I am particularly happy about this haul. It was the first month in a long time that I didn’t stick to a strict list and that I didn’t force myself to finish all the books I was reading by the end of the month. This means, in early September I’ll be finishing some books I have been reading since the beginning of August.

In a nutshell:

🌻 My favorite: Room to Dream by David Lynch & Kristine McKenna;
🌻 An extremely important read: Voices from Chernobyl by Svetlana Alexievich;
🌻 An inspiring book if you’re young & want to create: My Thoughts Exactly by Lily Allen;
🌻 A feminist book you must read: A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf.

Thank you to the following publishers for sending me free copies of the books noted. Thank you to Dzanc Books (Animais Eat Each Other by Elle Nash), Atria Books (Mrs. Everything by Jennifer Weiner), Hogarth (What Red Was by Rosie Price), and 2020 (Vozes de Chernobyl & Espaço para Sonhar).
